Reed Oppenheimer brings over 52 years of business leadership and strategic experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. A seasoned executive, Reed has led and grown numerous enterprises, including founding the International Division of Oppenheimer Industries and serving as CEO of a defense technology company. His career spans corporate leadership, investment management, market development, and strategic planning, with a particular focus on early-growth enterprises. In addition to his business success, Reed has dedicated much of his life to addressing global issues such as poverty, food insecurity, and social injustice through his work with non-profits like The Hunger Project and the Grameen Foundation. His passion for sustainability is reflected in his extensive work in agroforestry, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation, particularly in developing countries.As Chairman of the Board at Sustainable Carbon Pathways, Reed provides strategic guidance and leadership, leveraging his expertise in business evelopment and sustainability to support the company’s mission in the carbon markets and beyond.

With a career focused on the strategic development of businesses, he has overseen initiatives that integrate cutting-edge technology and sustainability. His expertise spans across multiple industries, with a special emphasis on high-performance solutions and continuous growth. Dr. Seelan Subramaniam
Group CEO
Seelan Subramaniam holds a PhD in International Finance and an MBA in International Business and Finance. With over two decades of experience, he has consulted across industries such as healthcare, agriculture, oil and gas, logistics, and financial services in over a dozen countries. Seelan has worked on sustainability initiatives aligned with the UN’s SDGs and is a board member at TransEnergy Global, focusing on environmental restoration and clean energy solutions. He has successfully led projects for the UN and multilateral agencies, combining expertise in development finance with a strong commitment to promoting sustainable business practices and reducing carbon emissions.
Sami Osman
Chief Strategy Officer/Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Osman has over a decade and a half of experience consulting to industry and government on climate change policy and particularly carbon offset markets. His experience spans Africa, Australasia, Europe, and North America, where he has advised over a dozen governments and multilateral agencies, and many dozens of companies on advancing their offset programs, and broader ESG efforts. Sami has developed over a dozen carbon offset protocols, across multiple programs and jurisdictions, has advised dozens of projects and verification bodies, and has overseen the issuance of millions of offsets. In addition to his carbon market industry experience, Sami is a trained lawyer, has an international business degree, and training in risk management and project management.

Veerakali Ponnudurai is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in driving business growth and strategic initiatives across multiple sectors, including defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing. With a strong background in managing product development, optimizing manufacturing processes, and leading cross-functional teams, he has consistently delivered innovative solutions to complex challenges. At SCP, Veerakali advises on market positioning, sustainable product development, and operational efficiencies, helping the company expand its impact in the carbon market and contribute to global sustainability efforts.
Jegatheswaran Ratnasingam, Ph.D.
Head of Forestry
Dr. Jegatheswaran Ratnasingam is a Professor at the Faculty of Forestry & Environment, Universiti Putra Malaysia, with extensive expertise in carbon footprint, carbon markets, and circular economy within forest industries. He has led over 40 international research grants and supervised numerous graduate students in M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs. Dr. Ratnasingam has published over 90 impact factor journal articles and authored 29 academic books, including pioneering works on forest sciences and biodiversity in Malaysia. His international consultancy projects span multiple regions, including Zambia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, focusing on carbon stock assessments, ESG consulting, and wood processing sector carbon footprint analysis. He has been a key contributor to major global initiatives like REDD+ and CDM programs and served as an advisor to various government and private sector sustainability projects. In recognition of his contributions to global sustainability and forestry, Dr. Ratnasingam holds honorary professorships from institutions in the UK, South Africa, and Germany and has been an international expert for organizations like the FAO, ADB, and ITC.
Ir.Ts. Sumeshini Subramaniam
Lead Engineer
Sumeshini Subramaniam is a seasoned expert in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation and corporate strategy. With over 10 years of experience across various sectors, she specializes in driving sustainable business practices, resource optimization, and developing impactful sustainability strategies. Holding a master’s in environmental engineering, Sumeshini has a proven track record in managing large-scale sustainability initiatives that support both environmental and business goals. Her expertise in carbon markets and climate action aligns perfectly with the mission of Sustainable Carbon Pathways to advance climate-positive solutions.
Andrew Beauchamp
Head of Advisory Services
Andrew is Director of Global Carbon Services and has 10 years of experience working in the voluntary carbon market. During his tenure he’s worked on developing over 10 GHG methodologies/protocols in various sectors under GHG programs such as Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program. In addition, Andrew managed the 2000+ portfolio of projects certified under the VCS Program to ensure quality of credits issued. Andrew was instrumental in the development of Verra’s Plastic Waste Reduction Program, particularly the methodologies issued for plastic waste reduction and recycling. In addition, Andrew was the Vice Chair of the American National Accreditation Body (ANAB) Greenhouse Gas Validation/Verification Committee (GVAC), the governing oversight body for GHG auditors in the US, and previously served as Chair. Andrew holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a Public Policy Focus from the George Washington University in Washington, DC where he focused on environmental and science policy. Andrew also holds certificates in the suite of international standards (ISO) for environmental and GHG accounting, for which he has also been instrumental in their recent revisions. He also holds multiple certificates as a verifier under various protocols under the California Air Resources Board’s (ARB) Compliance Offset Program.
Justin Sewak

Justin is a passionate climate advocate and a skilled project management professional with a robust foundation in international development. Holding a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh, Justin seamlessly combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience, making them a proactive force in advancing climate action. Their journey in sustainability and climate resilience commenced during high school, where Justin dedicated time to volunteering in environmental cleanups and tree planting. This early commitment paved the way for roles within the Peace Corps, International Development, and Carbon Credits. Their Peace Corps service in Malawi significantly enriched Justin’s understanding of natural resource management and sustainable development, emphasizing the critical roles of community engagement and gender empowerment in effective climate solutions. Possessing a strong technical skill set, including proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce, coupled with multilingual fluency in Swahili, French, Tumbuka, and Chewa, Justin stands well-equipped to support climate-related projects. Their passion, skills, and diverse experiences make them an invaluable asset to any climate-focused organization dedicated to shaping a positive future for our planet.
Kun-Yuan Lee
Head of Technology
Mr. Lee is a distinguished geospatial scientist with over a decade of experience spanning government, education, and private sectors, reflecting deep expertise in earth & climate science, remote sensing, and computational science. His professional journey demonstrates profound mastery in geospatial programming, data analysis, climate modeling, GIS automation, database management, and API development. In the education sector, Mr. Lee excelled as a Graduate Teaching Associate, skillfully integrating complex programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and IDL into the curriculum, effectively merging theoretical knowledge with practical execution. His commitment to public service is evident through his significant contributions to national geospatial projects, underscoring his dedication to societal advancement through technology. In the private sector, Mr. Lee has made a marked impact with his development of i nnovative thermal mapping and data processing methodologies, as well as by enhancing the functionalities of geospatial products. His ability to develop robust data pipelines for cloud-based systems as an Integration and ETL Engineer highlights his aptitude for solving complex technological challenges. Mr. Lee’s career stands as a testament to his pursuit of technological innovation, problem-solving skills, and dedication to the advancement of geospatial technology, making substantial contributions across a diverse range of applications.
Anna Mortimer
Senior Manager
Anna has over five years of experience working in the voluntary carbon market. During their tenure Anna has worked on developing GHG methodologies in various sectors under GHG programs such as Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program. In addition, Anna helped manage the 4000+ portfolio of projects certified under the VCS Program to ensure quality of credits issued, and under the CCB Program and SD VISta Program to ensure robust measurements of social and non-carbon environmental benefits. Anna also wrote and revised over 60 rules and requirements under the VCS Program, including significant safeguard requirements.
Anna has a particular interest in blue carbon and ocean ecosystems, and assisted in the development of the VCS peat and blue carbon methodologies. Anna has had a lifelong passion for environmental conservation and ecosystem health. Anna grew up participating in trail restoration projects, and seagrass restoration projects in their local environment. Anna has a Bachelors of Arts in International Political Economy from Fordham University, with a concentration in Sustainable Business.
